Monday I took Aya home, she had a melt down not wanting to go, but finally gave in when she was told she could play on my tablet. Had to stop for a potty run due to my tummy, and found she was playing a game she had been told she wasn't allowed to play numerous times, as it wasn't a kids game at all, and got it taken away from her. She threw a fit and was told that if she couldn't listen she wouldn't get to come back and she settled down again and was quiet the rest of the ride. Got her home again and then helped mom with making some labels then finally headed home.
Had a grand total of 4288 steps, but I am pretty sure most of those were false steps from being in the car for four hours, I know the 13 floors that my Fitbit thought I climbed definitely were!
Yesterday, Tuesday, I got up late, but thats ok, I needed the sleep! I spent my afternoon watching Merlin on Netflix while I folded all the laundry. Then Ozzy and I just chilled and I read for a while. Some how I managed to get 4173 steps in! I had given it up as a fail, but I was only a few hundred short of my goal, so its not as bad as I thought!
Couldn't sleep last night at all, so I was awake until Tim got up for work this morning. I was rudely awakened two hours later by hammering noises from the renovations upstairs. Today was new carpet day apparently in that apartment. I went back to sleep and then was up around 1pm v.v I ate a piece of mochi while Ozzy had his lunch and then we hopped in the car and off to the park we went! We walked around the park fully twice, which was awesome, and started a third when he took off and I knew that was that. He found his little friend Bella and was done with the walking! It was play time then!
We got home and went and got the mail, then came in and I had lunch. Then it was dishes and a bit of tidying the kitchen and then I read for a while again. Didn't reach my goal at all though for steps, so Im a bit disappointed. Only managed to get in 3792. Oh well, tomorrow I will do better!
I think I need to get a new Fitbit, mine doesn't hold its charge as long any more, the sync dongle doesn't play nice and the Fitbit itself doesn't want to connect half the time anymore. Any suggestions and great step counter things?
Today we had a tasty dinner I just sort of threw together. Penne pasta with a light sauce made from the juice of diced tomatoes and a spoon of cream cheese, with chicken sautéed in olive oil and a bit of butter and seasoned with paprika, turmeric, garlic and Italian seasoning with a pinch of salt and pepper. It was super tasty! No greens, but I only have 20 left in my food budget so I was trying to just use what I had around. Tomorrow Ill get stuff for a big salad for dinner. Have some ideas I wanted to try! I will let you know how it turns out and if good, Ill post a link!
Took a lovely long and hot bath last night. Got myself some honey almond oatmeal soap, but didn't notice until after the bath it was full of sulfates... I was soooo itchy! Im sad now v.v It smelled wonderful. Tonight Ill shower and use the wonderful soap that my friend Sam makes instead! That stuff is the best ever!
For now, Im off to digest dinner a bit more, maybe have some orange sherbet, then to try and sleep, if not, Ill read some more!
